CARBON MONOCOQUE

A carbon monocoque is a structure composed of a single piece of material, usually carbon fiber, which provides the shape and structural strength of the object. Carbon monocoques are commonly used in aerospace, automotive and sports applications, where lightness, strength and rigidity are needed. Carbon monocoques offer a number of advantages over other structures, including:

• Lightness: carbon monocoques are much lighter than other structural materials, making them ideal for applications where weight reduction is important, such as racing cars and motorbikes, aircraft, ships, etc.

• Strength: Carbon monocoques are very resistant to force and torsion. This makes them ideal for applications where it is important to ensure structural robustness.

• Rigidity: carbon monocoques are very rigid, which makes them ideal for applications where it is important to guarantee dimensional precision, such as bicycles and indeed Padel and Beach Tennis rackets.

LESS VIBRATIONS

All DOPE rackets are made of carbon monocoque and therefore made in a single piece. This structure, combined with a certain design, offers several advantages compared to traditional rackets, including greater power, greater durability and less vibration. The absence of vibrations is one of the main advantages of monocoque rackets. The vibrations are caused by the impact of the ball with the racket. Depending on the point of impact, a shock wave is generated which propagates through the racket frame. These vibrations can be transmitted to the player's arm, causing discomfort or pain. The DOPE carbon monocoque rackets are designed to reduce these vibrations to a minimum thanks to the VDT ( Vibration Damping Technology ) and EPIC (Eva Pro Impact Control) systems.

This incredible result is achieved using high quality composite materials. Composite materials are made up of fibers, which are very rigid, and a matrix material, which is more flexible. The combination of stiff fibers and flexible matrix material allows vibrations to be absorbed and dissipated.

DOPE rackets do not need to be painted and as a company we have no intention of doing so. Once the manufacturing process is completed, the rackets are removed from the mold and are ready to be drilled, prepared with grips and placed in the packaging for shipping. Avoiding painting or finishing with any type of chemical treatment means that the environmental impact and the danger of intoxication for the operator is significantly limited.
